So what essentially needs to be done is to extend Linyphi (Linyphi: An IPv6-Compatible Implementation of SSR) as Implementation of SSR for Linux. Use and extend Sofia-SIP as SIP stack for the SIP-Client. Implement a distributed SIP-Registrar using Sofia-SIP and leverage the SSR implementation. The SSR implementation (the Linyphi) needs to be extended to not only store virtual node IDs but also SIP URI mappings.
